Highlights of the 2026 SRC Week Celebration
Grand Opening – Friday, 12th June
Activities begin with the SRC Week Float and Awareness Walk at 7:00 AM, followed by the Official Launching of Face of DHLTU at 5:00 PM. The launch will feature cultural displays, contestant unveiling, and exciting performances to kick-start the celebrations.
Leadership & Student Engagement – Monday, 15th June
The SRC will officially launch its flagship week initiatives alongside the inauguration of the Red Cross Society Chapter. The day will conclude with Jama Proper, an evening of student interaction, music, and campus spirit.
Security and Sports Day – Tuesday, 16th June
Students will participate in a Security Seminar focused on campus safety and awareness. Sports enthusiasts can also look forward to the opening stages of the SRC Football Tournament, where faculties and departments will compete for glory.
Intellectual and Cultural Showcase – Wednesday, 17th June
A thrilling Debate Competition will test students' analytical and public speaking abilities, while the Food and Culture Day will celebrate the university's cultural diversity through traditional cuisines, attire, and heritage exhibitions.
Face of DHLTU Grand Finale – Thursday, 18th June
The spotlight turns to the highly anticipated Grand Finale of Face of DHLTU, where finalists will compete for the coveted crown. The event will be preceded by the Crazy Float, giving students the opportunity to proudly represent their departments and alma mater.
Cadet Inauguration, Football Finals & Awards Night – Friday, 19th June
The day begins with the Inauguration of the Institutional Cadet, followed by the thrilling Football Finals. The celebrations will climax with the prestigious Dinner and Awards Night, recognizing outstanding student leaders, achievers, and contributors to campus development.
Entertainment Night – Saturday, 20th June
Students can unwind and socialize during the much-talked-about Date Rush / Evening Jams, an evening designed to foster networking, friendship, and memorable campus experiences.
Thanksgiving Service – Sunday, 21st June
The SRC Week celebration will officially conclude with a Thanksgiving Service, bringing students, staff, and stakeholders together in gratitude for a successful week of activities.
